Ingredients:

| cup | Finely chopped celery | | 1/2
| cup | Chopped onion | | 1
| tsp | Poultry seasoning or | | | -dried sage leaves | | 1/2
| cup | Margarine | | 8
| cup | Dry bread cubes | | 3/4
| cup | Chicken broth or water | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 1/8
| tsp | Salt |

Procedures:
| 1 | In a small sauce pan cook celery and onion, in butter, until tender but not brown. | | 2 | Remove from heat. | | 3 | Stir in poultry seasoning, ?ts pepper, and 1/8 ts salt. | | 4 | Place dry bread cubes in a bowl. | | 5 | Add onion and celery mix. | | 6 | Pour in enough broth or water to moisten, tossing lightly. | | 7 | Use to stuff one 8 to 10 lb. turkey. | | 8 | Makes 8 to 10 servings. | | 9 | Microwave directions: micro cook onions and celery in a one quart cassrole dish with butter for 6 to 8 minutes on high. | | 10 | Continue as above. | | 11 | Herb and onion stuffing: prepare as above but add 1 cup more onions and leave out the celery. | | 12 | Use sage and add ?cup snipped parsley, ?ts dried thyme, and ?ts marjoram |
