Old fashioned bread stuffing

Ingredients:
1 cupFinely chopped celery
1/2 cupChopped onion
1 tspPoultry seasoning or
-dried sage leaves
1/2 cupMargarine
8 cupDry bread cubes
3/4 cupChicken broth or water
1/4 tspPepper
1/8 tspSalt
Procedures:
1In a small sauce pan cook celery and onion, in butter, until tender but not brown.
2Remove from heat.
3Stir in poultry seasoning, ?ts pepper, and 1/8 ts salt.
4Place dry bread cubes in a bowl.
5Add onion and celery mix.
6Pour in enough broth or water to moisten, tossing lightly.
7Use to stuff one 8 to 10 lb. turkey.
8Makes 8 to 10 servings.
9Microwave directions: micro cook onions and celery in a one quart cassrole dish with butter for 6 to 8 minutes on high.
10Continue as above.
11Herb and onion stuffing: prepare as above but add 1 cup more onions and leave out the celery.
12Use sage and add ?cup snipped parsley, ?ts dried thyme, and ?ts marjoram
