Ingredients:

| | Eggs well beaten | | 2
| cup | Milk | | 1
| cup | Brown sugar well packed | | 4
| tbsp | Instant coffee powder | | 1/2
| cup | Irish whiskey or brandy | | 2
| tsp | Vanilla extract | | 2
| cup | Whipping cream |

Procedures:
| 1 | In a medium saucepan, combine beaten eggs, milk, brown sugar and instant coffee. | | 2 | Cook and stir over medium-low heat until sugar and coffee dissolve and mixture thickens slightly. | | 3 | Remove from heat; stir in whiskey or brandy. | | 4 | Cool to room temperature. | | 5 | Stir in vanilla and whipping cream. | | 6 | Pour into ice cream canister. | | 7 | Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer"s directions. | | 8 | Makes 2 quarts |
