Whole wheat buttermilk pancakes

Ingredients:
1/2 cupWhole Wheat Flour
1/2 cupUnbleached White Flour
1 tspSugar
1 tspBaking Powder
1/2 tspBaking Soda
1/4 tspSalt
1 Egg
1 cupButtermilk -or- Sour Milk (1
-cup lowfat milk + 1
-tablespoon vinegar)
2 tbspVegetable Oil
Procedures:
1Stir together the flours, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
2Beat the egg, milk and oil together.
3Add the liquids to the flour mixture and stir just until blended.
4Pour the batter onto a greased hot griddle.
5Serve with fresh fruit slices, unsweetened applesauce or low-calorie syrup.
