Ingredients:
2 cupSugar
2 tbspButter
1/2 cupMilk
1/4 cupBoiling water
1/8 tspSalt
1 tspVanilla
1 cupChopped nuts
Procedures:
1Caramelize ?cup sugar.
2Add boiling water.
3Stir until dissolved.
4Add butter, milk, salt, and remainder of sugar.
5Boil to soft ball stage (236°F).
6Cool to room temperature.
7Add flavoring.
8Beat until thick and creamy.
9Spread on cake.
10Sprinkle with nuts.
