Ingredients:
2 Egg whites
1 1/2 cupSugar
1/4 tspCream of tartar
1/3 cupWater
1 tspVanilla
1/4 tspAlmond extract
Procedures:
1Place egg whites, sugar, cream of tartar and water in the top of a very large double boiler.
2Put over simmering (not boiling) water and beat with rotary hand mixer for 6 to 7 minutes until frosting increases in volume and forms firm peaks when beater is lifted.
3Beat in vanilla and almond extracts.
4Spread on cake immediately
