Goma jayu-ae (soy & sesame-seed dressing w/ french beans)

Ingredients:
1 lbsFrench beans
2/5 pintNiban Dashi
1 pinchMSG
1/4 tspSoy Sauce
1 pinchSalt
2 1/2 tspSugar
1 1/2 tspSake
DRESSING
1 1/2 ozWhite Sesame Seed, Ground
1 1/2 tspSugar
2 1/2 tbspSake
5 tspSoy Sauce
Procedures:
1Prepare in advance: snip off ends of french beans and discard.
2Cut beans into ? lengths.
3Drop them into ?pt of lightly salted boiling water, reduce heat and cook briskly, about 8-10 minutes until beans are tender but still slightly resistant to bite.
4Drain and run under cold water.
5Put the dashi, sugar, ?t salt, msg, sake and soy sauce into a pan.
6Bring to a boil.
7Add the beans, return to boil.
8Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
9Dressing: heat sake to likewarm over a high heat.
10Ignite sake and let burn until the flame dies out.
11Pour sake into a small bowl and let cool to room temperature.
12Add all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
13To serve: toss together the french beans and dressing, serve at room temperature
