Mom's sweet potato casserole

Ingredients:
6 medSweet potatoes
2 Eggs, beaten
1/4 cupBrown sugar
1/4 cupOrange juice
6 tbspButter, melted
1 tspSalt
1 tspGround cinnamon
1/4 tspGround cloves
2/3 cupPecan halves
FOR SYRUP
1/4 cupBrown sugar
2 tbspOrange juice
2 tbspButter
Procedures:
1Prehat oven to 375 °F.
2Peel and boil sweet potaoes until soft; cool slightly.
3Mash potaoes until creamy.
4Add eggs, brown sugarm orange juice, butter, cinnamon and cloves and mix well.
5Place in a lightly greased 2-quart casserole and smooth the top.
6Set aside.
7In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm brown sugar, orange juice and butter until melted.
8Arrange pcans on top of sweet potatoes and drizzle with syrup.
