Ingredients:
1 lbsNeck and breast of mutton
1 smallTurnip
2 Sticks Celery
1 Onion
1 tbspTomato sauce (ketchup)
1 smallCarrot
1 tbspFlour
1 tbspDrippings
1 pintStock
Procedures:
1Method: Cut the meat into mouthful size pieces and trim off the fat.
2Slice up the vegetables.
3Melt the dripping in a pan.
4Dredge the meat with the flour and fry until brown.
5Take out the meat and fry the vegetables, then put all the ingredients in the pan and seson to taste.
6Simmer for one and a half hours.
