Ingredients:
1 lbsLamb, trimmed of fat and
-diced small
1 Onion chopped
2 Inch stick of cinnamon
6 cartnPods
6 Cloves
1 1/2 tspChopped garlic
2 tspChopped ginger
Pn Of turmeric
2 Tomatoes chopped
2 tbspButter
Salt to taste
Procedures:
1Grind cloves, cinnamon and cardamom to powder.
2Heat butter in a heavy pan and fry onion until brown.
3Add ginger, garlic, turmeric and spices.
4Stir and fry together for 1 minute.
5Put in meat and mix well.
6Cover and turn down heat to low .
7Cook for about 30 minutes without adding any water.
8When done, add tomatoes and salt to taste, cover and cook a little longer.
9Serve over rice
