Italian-style lamb chops

Ingredients:
8 Lamb rib chops, 1" thick
1 cupDry red wine
1/4 cupChopped onion
3 tbspSoy sauce
2 tbspLemon juice
1 tbspSugar
2 tspDried oregano leaves
2 tspDried thyme leaves
3 tbspFinely chopped parsley
Procedures:
1Trim fat from chops and discard.
2Rinse chops and place in a heavy plastic food bag.
3Add wine, onion, soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, oregano, and thyme.
4Seal bag; rotate to mix ingredients well.
5Chill at least 30 minutes or up to 6 hours; turn occasionally.?Lift out chops, draining; reserve marinade.
6Place chops on a lightly oiled rack on a broiler pan.
7Broil chops about 6" from heat, basting several times with marinade.
8Turn chops once to brown evenly, and cook until done to your taste.
9For medium-rare (still pink in center; cut to test), allow 8-10 minutes.
