Minty lambs burgers

Ingredients:
1 lbsGround lamb
1 Small onion, coarsely grated
1 tspGarlic, minced finely
1/4 cupFresh mint, chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepp
-er to taste
4 Hamburger buns, toasted
4 sliceTomato
1/3 cupPlain yogurt, non-fat
-drained
Procedures:
1Recipe by: sheila lukins, parade magazine, 5/22/94 preparation time: 0:30 prepare hot coals for grilling.
2Place the ground lamb in a bowl and mix well with onion, garlic and chopped mint, being sure not to overmix.
3Season to taste with salt and pepper.
4Gently form the mixture into 4 patties.
5Grill the burgers over hot coals, 3 inches from heat, for about 4 minutes per side for rare meat, or 5 minutes per side for medium rare.
6Serve the lamb burgers immediiately on buns topped with a tomato slice and a dollop of yogurt, if desired
