Oldbab leves (string bean soup)

Ingredients:
4 cupChicken broth
1 lbsFresh string beans, cut in
-1 inch pieces
2 smallOnions, finely chopped
3 tbspOf butter
3 eachCloves garlic, chopped fine
1 tspPaprika
3 tbspFlour
1/2 cupCold water
1/4 cupChopped parsley
Salt and white pepper to
-taste
1 cupThin noodles, cooked
Procedures:
1Heat the chicken broth in a large 3 ?quart saucepan.
2Add the beans and onions and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the vegetables are tender but still firm.
3Heat the butter in a 1 quart saucepan.
4Add the garlic and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
5Stir inthe paprika and flour with a spatula.
6Slowly blend in the cold water to form a thick paste.
7Stir the paste into the hot soup and simmer, stirring constanlty, until the soup has thickened slightly.
8Add the vinegar and the parsley, and noodles.
9Serve hot.
