| 1 | Can use rice krispies instead of special k. |
| 2 | If you choose not to use peanuts. |
| 3 | Increase cereal to 6 cups. |
| 4 | *** * heat sugar, corn syrup & salt until it boils. |
| 5 | Add peanut butter and stir til it boils. |
| 6 | Pour in special k & nuts; mix til coated. |
| 7 | Spread in a buttered 9 x 13 pan and press. |
| 8 | Cool. |
| 9 | Melt chocolate chips over double boiler & spread on cooled peanut butter mixture. |
| 10 | Cut into bars when cool |
