| | Onion, chopped | | 1
| | Green pepper, chopped | | 1
| med | Cabbage, shredded | | 1
| tsp | Orgeano | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1/8
| tsp | Pepper | | 18
| oz | Tomato paste, or | | | Tomato paste with italian | | | -seasonings | | 8
| oz | Mozzarella cheese, sliced* |

Procedures:
| 1 | Recipe by: bob b1744 * delicious using half provolone cheese, half mozzarella cheese. | | 2 | Saute ground beef, onion and green pepper until meat is brown. | | 3 | Drain well. | | 4 | Meanwhile, boil cabbage until tender, 2-5 minutes. | | 5 | Combine 2 cup of liquid form cabbage with oregano, salt, pepper and tomato paste. | | 6 | Simmer or microwave for 5 minutes. | | 7 | Add meat-vegetables mixture. | | 8 | Simmer for 5 minutes more. | | 9 | Spoon half of the tomato-meat mixture into a 13x9" pan. | | 10 | Layer well-drained cabbage on sauce then rest of sauce. | | 11 | Top with sliced cheese to cover. | | 12 | Bake at 400°F. for 25-40 minutes. | | 13 | Cheese can be added during last 5-10 minutes . | | 14 | Can microwave for a while and then finish in oven, to cut down cooking time |
