Ingredients:
2 tbspVEGETABLE OIL
1/2 tspSALT
1 cupSLICED CHICKEN BREAST
1/2 cupPEA PODS
1/2 cupWHOLE BUTTON MUSHROOMS
1/2 cupBAMBOO SHOOTS
1 cupCANNED CHICKEN BROTH
1/2 cupCOOKED CASHEW NUTS
1/2 tspMONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE
-(OPTIONAL)
1/4 tspSUGAR
1/2 tspCORNSTARCH
Procedures:
1Swirl oil around bottom & sides of heated wok.
2Add salt & chicken, stir-fry 2 min. over high heat.
3Add pea pods, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, & chicken broth.
4Cover & cook 2-3 min. gently stir in cashew nuts, monosodium glutamate, and sugar.
5Mix cornstarch w/ ?tsp. water to form a paste and add to thicken the sauce.
6Serve immediately.
