| tsp | Cinnamon, ground, divided | | 1/2

| large | Eggs, room temp. | | 1 1/2
| cup | Milk | | 1
| cup | Flour | | 3
| tbsp | Sugar | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla extract | | 1/2

Procedures:
| 1 | Recipe by: milwaukee journal peel, core and cut apples into ?inch thick slices (to make about 4 cups). | | 2 | In 9 x 13 pan, melt butter in oven at 375 deg. | | 3 | Arrange apple slices over melted butter in dish. | | 4 | Continue baking until apples are soft, about 10 minutes. | | 5 | In small bowl, mix brown sugar with ?ateaspoon of the cinnamon and nutmeg. | | 6 | Remove pan from oven; sprinkle apple with sugar mixture; set aside. | | 7 | In blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade, blend eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, salt an remaining ?teaspoon cinnamon. | | 8 | Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. | | 9 | Pour over apples in baking pan. | | 10 | Return pan to oven; bake at 375 deg 35 minutes, or until top is golden brown and apples rise to surface. | | 11 | Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. | | 12 | Serve warm. | | 13 | Makes 8 servings |
