Banana velvet doughnuts

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cupFlour
2 1/2 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspBaking soda
1/4 tspNutmeg
1/2 tspSalt
2 Egg
1/2 cupHoney
1 Banana
2 tbspButter or margarine
1/2 cupSour cream
1/2 tspVanilla
Fat for deep frying
Procedures:
1Sift together dry ingredients.
2Beat eggs until light.
3Add honey gradually and continue beating until well mixed.
4Beat in mashed banana, butter, sour cream and vanilla.
5Stir in flour mixture.
6(dough should be soft).
7Chill 2 hours or longer.
8Roll out on floured board about ?inch thick.
9Cut with doughnut cutter.
10In deep fat heated to 370°F, fry a few at a time.
11(fry the holes as well as the doughnuts).
12Turn doughnuts when they rise to the surface and are brown on the underside.
13Fry until brown on both sides.
14Remove from fat and drain thoroughly.
15Note: may form into long rolls and twist together to form crullers, cutting off every 2 inches
