Ingredients:
1/2 cupFLOUR
1 dashSALT
1 dashSUGAR
1 tspBAKING POWDER
1/8 tspCAYENNE PEPPER
2 tbspBUTTER, CUT IN SMALL PIECES
3 tbspMILK
1/2 cupGRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE
Procedures:
1Combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and pepper.
2Stir to mix.
3Cut butter in with fork until mixture is crumbly.
4Add milk, one tablespoon at a time until a sticky dough forms.
5Pat dough into ?inch thick rectangle on work surface.
6Try not to add more flour as dough needs to be sticky.
7Cut into two 3" rounds with cookie cutter.
8Place cheese on a small plate add press each biscuit into cheese to coat top and sides.
9Bottom should not have cheese on it.
10Place biscuits cheese side up on a well greased baking sheet and bake at 400 deg f. for 14 minutes or until golden crust forms.
11Remove from sheet immediately.
12Serve hot
