Ingredients:
8 ozFirm silken tofu
1/3 cupApple juice
1 tbspLemon juice
1 cupWholewheat flour
1 cupAll-purpose flour
2 tspBaking powder
1/2 tspBaking soda
1/4 tspSalt, optional
2 tbspBasil, chopped -=OR=-
1 tbspBasil, dried
2 tbspChives, chopped -=OR=-
1 tbspChives, dried
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 450f & oil cookie sheets.
2Blend tofu till smooth.
3Blend in apple juice & lemon juice.
4Transfer to a medium sized mixing bowl & set aside.
5Sift together the next 5 ingredients & fold into the tofu mixture.
6Stir in basil & chives.
7Turn dough out onto a lightly floured board & form into a ball.
8Roll dough out to ? thickness & cut with a cookie cutter.
9Bake for 12 minutes & serve immediately
