Pear and almond pancakes

Ingredients:
5 Bartlett pears
1 packButtermilk pancake mix
Vanilla
1 packSlivered almonds
10 ozLight maple syrup
10 ozFig filling
5 ozCane sugar
Whipped butter
Powdered sugar
Procedures:
1(from the modern diner, pawtucket, r.i).
2Core, peel and chop pears to ? chunks.
3Coat in syrup of 5 ounces water, 5 ounces sugar and refrigerate overnight.
4Prepare enough pancake mix for 4 people and add a small amount of vanilla for taste.
5Pour batter on griddle and immediately add pears and preferred amount of almonds to the cakes.
6Flip carefully with bubbles appear.
7Heat maple syrup and fig filling in a saucepan.
8Top pancakes with heated syrup, whipped butter and powdered sugar
