Ingredients:
3/4 cupButtermilk
2 cupWhole wheat flour
1 cupBread flour
1 tspSalt
1 1/2 tbspButter or margarine
3 tbspSugar
1/4 tspBaking soda
8 ozCan of crushed pineapple
Well-drained
1/3 cupFlaked coconut
1 1/2 tspActive dry yeast
Procedures:
1Place all ingredients in bread pan, select light crust setting and press start.
21-?lb. loaf.
3After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on rack and allow to cool for 1 hour before slicing.
4Note: for welbilt/dak machines, use 2 ts yeast for panasonic/nat"l.
5Machines, use 3 ts yeast deb"s notes: substituted 3 tb of buttermilk *powder*, ?c plus 1 tb of water, and deleted baking soda in lieu of fresh buttermilk.
6Worked fine.
7Rich liked it with creamed clover honey, but he loved it in bread pudding
