Ingredients:

| cup | All-purpose flour | | 2
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Cinnamon | | 1/2
| cup | Butter, softened | | 3/4
| cup | Granulated sugar | | 1/2
| cup | Brown sugar | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1 1/4
| cup | Chunky-style applesauce | | 1
| cup | Walnuts, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | 1) sift the flour with the baking baking powder, salt and cinnamon. | | 2 | 2) cream the butter with both sugars until light and fluffy. | | 3 | 3) beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. | | 4 | 4) stir half of the dry ingredients into the sugar mixture and then half of the applesauce. | | 5 | Repeat. | | 6 | 5) fold nuts into batter. | | 7 | Pour into a well greased and floured 9x5x3 loaf pan. | | 8 | 6) bake at 350 °F for 1 hour, or until tester, inserted into center, comes out clean. | | 9 | 7) cool in pan for 10 minutes. | | 10 | Remove. | | 11 | Let bread cool completely on wire rack before slicing. | | 12 | Per serving: calories: 298 protein: 4.6 g fat: 15.0 g carbohydrates: 37 g sodium: 339 mg |
