Ingredients:
BEST BREAD MACHINE CB EVER
9 ozMarinated artichoke hearts
1/2 tbspYeast
1 1/2 cupBread flour
1 1/2 cupWhole wheat flour
1/3 cupCracked wheat
1 1/2 tbspSugar
1/2 tbspSalt
1/4 tspBlack pepper
3 tbspParmesan, grated
1 cupWater, warm
Procedures:
1Drain artichoke hearts, reserving 3 tb liquid.
2Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in order.
3Set "baking control" at 10 o"clock.
4Select "white bread" and push start.
5In hot & humid weather, use 1/8 c less water.
6Since the flavor of this loaf is not too assertive, but the texture is substantial, it is a good sandwich bread for spicy meats, such as salami or pate, and ripe cheese.
7For early in the day eating, toast and spread with orange marmalade or apple butter.
