| tsp | Rice wine | | 2
| tsp | Soy sauce | | | Peanut oil | | | MARINADE FOR BEEF | | 1
| tsp | Cornstarch | | 1
| tsp | Soy sauce | | 1/2
| tsp | Rice wine | | 1/2
| tsp | Sugar | | 1/4
| tsp | MSG (optional) | | 1/2

Procedures:
| 1 | Cut the beef when it is partially frozen, and cut it across the grain into thin slices. | | 2 | Stir baking soda solution into the beef (to help tenderize it). | | 3 | Stir in the marinade. | | 4 | Then stir in 1 tsp peanut oil and marinate the beef for one hour or more in the refrigerator. | | 5 | Heat 1 tablespoon peanut oil over high heat, add ?teaspoon salt. | | 6 | Stir in asparagus. | | 7 | Add ?cup water. | | 8 | Cover pan for 2 minutes, and do not lift lid. | | 9 | When done, remove to a platter. | | 10 | Over high heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil. | | 11 | Stir-fry the rinsed black beans and garlic mixture. | | 12 | Stir for a few seconds. | | 13 | Add the beef. | | 14 | Stir-fry quickly until barely. | | 15 | Do not overcook or the beef will become tough. | | 16 | Sizzle in 1 tablespoon of rice wine and 2 teaspoons of soy sauce. | | 17 | Stir in asparagus. | | 18 | Add gravy mixture. | | 19 | Stir until thickened. | | 20 | Serve hot. |
