Fettuccine with shrimp & cream sauce

Ingredients:
1 lbsFettuccine Noodles
1/2 cupOil
1/4 cupButter
24 Cloves fresh garlic, chopped
1 lbsFresh jumbo shrimp
Butterflied
1 cupChopped fresh parsley
2 cupChopped fresh mushrooms
1 cupChopped green onions
1 tbspRed pepper
2 tbspFlour
1/2 cupDry white wine
1 pintHeavy cream
1 smallWedge (5 oz.) Parmesan
Cheese, grated
Salt to taste
Procedures:
1Cook noodles according to package directions in boiling water with oil.
2While noodles are cooking, melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.
3Add chopped garlic and shrimp; cook until shrimp turn pink, but do not allow garlic to turn brown.
4Add parsley, mushrooms, onions and red pepper; saute for 1 minute.
5Add flour, mix thoroughly and add wine.
6Simmer for about 30 seconds, then add cream and heat through.
7Drain noodles and add to sauce with half the grated cheese.
8Fold in gently until noodles are well coated and cheese is melted.
9Salt lightly.
10If sauce is too thin, continue heating until sauce reduces to a creamy consistency.
11If sauce is too thick, add cream.
12Garnish with chopped parsley and additional grated cheese and serve immediately
