Ham balls with hawaiian punch sauce

Ingredients:
HAM BALLS
1/2 lbsHam, ground
3/4 lbsPork, ground
2/3 cupQuick oats
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 cupMilk
SAUCE
1/3 cupBrown sugar
2 tbspFlour
1 tbspDry mustard
2/3 cupHawaiian Punch
2 tbspVinegar
6 Cloves, whole
1/3 cupDark corn syrup
Procedures:
1Ham balls: preheat oven to 350°F.
2Combine all ingredients and shape into 1-inch balls.
3Place on greased cookie sheet and bake about 20 minutes, or until browned.
4Sauce: in sauce pan, combine brown sugar, flour and mustard, mixing well.
5Add punch and vinegar and mix well.
6Add cloves and corn syrup.
7Over medium heat cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and becomes clear.
8In chafing dish or crock pot, place ham balls and pour sauce over.
9Serve with toothpicks.
10The ham recipe can be shaped into a loaf and served as a main course with the sauce placed over the loaf about 15 minutes before it has finished cooking (1 hour at 350°F) with extra sauce on the side.
