Batter-dipped fondue meatballs

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbsGround Chuck
1/4 cupBread Crumbs, Dry
1 tspGarlic Salt
1/2 cupButter, Do NOT UseMargarine, *
1 Egg, Large
2 tbspBeer Or Apple Juice
2 cupSalad Oil
FROTHY BATTER
1 cupBiscuit Baking Mix, Bisquick
1 Egg, Lg
1/2 cupBeer Or Apple Juice
MUSTARD SAUCE
1/2 cupMayonnaise Or Salad Dressing
1 tbspOnion, Finely Chopped
2 tbspMustard, Prepared
HORSERADISH SAUCE
1/2 cupDairy Sour Cream
1/8 tspWorcestershire Sauce
1 tbspHorseradish
Procedures:
1* note: you can omit the butter and increase the salad oil to 2 ?~--------------------------------------------------------------------- ~-- mix the meat, egg, bread crumbs, beer and garlic salt.
2Shape the mixture into ?inch balls.
3Prepare the frothy batter.
4Heat the oil and butter in a metal fondue pot to 375 °F.
5Spear the meatballs with a fondue fork, dip into the batter and cook in the hot oil to the desired doneness, about 2 minutes.
6Serve with both sauces.
7Note: these meatballs can also be cooked without the batter.
8Frothy batter: mix all of the ingredients with a fork.
9(batter will be slightly lumpy).
10Mustard sauce and horseradish sauce: mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate until serving time
