Ingredients:
125 gramsChunky peanut butter
80 gramsButter
2 Medium bananas, (mashed)
125 mlMolasses
200 gramsSugar
10 mlVanilla
4 Eggs
5 mlCinnamon
1 mlGinger
75 gramsWhole wheat flour
125 gramsWhite flour
150 gramsKellogg's special k cereal (
5 mlBaking powder
1 mlBaking soda
2 1/2 mlSalt
180 gramsChocolate chips
150 gramsSalted peanuts (chopped)
200 gramsDates (chopped)
Procedures:
1Recipe by: john daleske at&t bell laboratories, columbus, ohio by hand: Preheat oven to 175 Śc .
2In a large bowl cream together peanut butter a Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
3Stir in the cereal.
4Sift together dry ingredients and mix into batter.
5Pour batter into greased 20x30 pan.
6Bake in preheated 175 Śc oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
7Cut into bars.
8With food processor: Cream butters in processor.
9Add cut-up bananas and blend.
10Add molasses, sugar, vanilla.
11Blend.
12Add eggs.
13Blend.
14Pour batter into large bowl and stir in sifted dry ingredients.
15Stir in other ingredients, one at a time.
16Continue with step 4, above
