Ingredients:

| pack | Yeast | | 3 1/2
| cup | Bread flour | | 1/3
| cup | Yellow cornmeal | | 1 1/2
| cup | Boiling water | | 1/3
| cup | Molasses | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 2
| tsp | Butter |

Procedures:
| 1 | Place cornmeal into a bowl. | | 2 | Carefully pour boiling water into cornmeal, stirring to make sure it is smooth. | | 3 | Let stand for about 30 minutes. | | 4 | Stir in molasses, salt and butter. | | 5 | Place yeast into the b/m pan, bread flour, then cornmeal mixture. | | 6 | Select white bread and push start. | | 7 | Note: an early american recipe. | | 8 | This has become a favorite in many homes |
