Ingredients:

| cup | Cranberries, fresh, chopped | | 1/2
| cup | Pears, peeled, chopped | | 2
| tbsp | Honey | | 1
| tbsp | Currants | | 1/4
| tsp | Pumpkin pie spice | | 3
| tbsp | Cranberry juice cocktail | | 2
| tbsp | Red wine vinegar | | 2
| tsp | Lemon juice | | 15
| oz | Brie, round, fully ripened |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine first 8 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring mix to a boil over medium-high heat. | | 2 | Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring frequently. | | 3 | Uncover and cook an additional 5 minutes or until mix is thickened, stirring frequently. | | 4 | Cool mix to room temperature. | | 5 | Cut circle in top rind of cheese, leaving an ? border of rind. | | 6 | Carefully remove center circle of rind from cheese, leaving border intact. | | 7 | Place brie on an ovenproof serving platter. | | 8 | Spread cranberry mix over top. | | 9 | Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. | | 10 | Serve immediately with melba rounds or sliced apples and pears. | | 11 | Yield: 30 appetizer servings |
