Whole wheat bagels - pan-1

Ingredients:
1 cupWhole wheat flour (5 ?oz)
1 cupBread flour (5 ?oz)
1 tspSalt
1 tbspButter
2 tbspMolasses
2/3 cupWater
1 1/2 tspDry yeast
TOPPINGS:
3/4 tbspPoppy seed (optional)
3/4 tbspSesame seeds (optional)
Procedures:
1Place first 4 ingredients inside the bread pan.
2Add molasses and water.
3Close cover and place dry yeast into the yeast holder.
4Select: whole wheat dough mode.
5Press start.
6(breadmaker completes the basic dough mode 3 hours and 15 minutes later) Rest in a greased covered bowl in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
7Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
8Roll each portion on a lightly floured surface into a log, approximately ?inch thick and 8 inches long, using the palm of your hand.
9Seal the ends together tightly to make a ring with a 1 ?to 2 inch hole in the center.
105.place on a greased baking pan.
11Spray water on top.
12Proof at 90 °F for 30 minutes .
13Bring 1 gallon water with 1 tb sugar to a boil.
14Reduce to a simmer.
15Cook 4 or 5 bagels at a time for 7 minutes, turning once.
16Drain well.
17Place on a greased baking pan.
18Sprinkle tops with poppy seeds or sesame seeds, if desired.
