Ingredients:
2 Onions, chopped
2 Chopped green peppers
1/4 cupRed wine
1 Juice of a lemon
1/2 tspBasil, oregano, salt
1 quartCanned tomatoes, chopped fine
Procedures:
1Pour canned tomatoes through a strainer or a colander to drain off some juice.
2You will need about 2 ?c of mostly drained tomatoes to make a thick salsa.
3Save the juice to use in soup or refried beans.
4Chop the tomatoes into small pieces.
5Mix all other ing.
6Into chopped tomatoes.
7Taste and adjust the seasonings.
8Let stand for about 30 min. so flavors can blend.
9This salsa will keep for 2-3 days in the refrigerator. ~-
