Carne guisada con papas (meat & potatoes)

Ingredients:
3 lbsRound steak, ? thick
2 lbsPotatoes
8 ozTomato sauce
1 1/2 tspSalt
1/2 tspGround pepper
1/2 tspGround cumin
1 eachLarge clove garlic, smashed
Water
Procedures:
1Cut round steak into cubes and brown in shortening in heavy skillet or dutch oven.
2Peel and cube potatoes (approximately in ?inch cubes).
3Once meat is slight browned add potatoes and continue to brown.
4(don"t worry if it sticks to the bottom of the skillet.
5Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, cumin powder and garlic.
6Add approcimately one cup of water and simmer until meat and potatoes are tender.
7Potatoes will thicken sauce
