Ingredients:
1 canGarbanzo beans, rinsed and d
1 tbspLemon juice, fresh
1 Cl Garlic, crushed
1 medOnion, chopped
1/2 smallAvocado*, peeled/chopped
1 medTomato, chopped
4 Scallions, thinly sliced
1 tbspGreen chiles, canned, choppe
Procedures:
1Recipe by: the new mcdougall cookbook preparation time: 0:15 place the garbanzo beans in a food processor or blender.
2Add the lemon juice and garlic.
3Process briefly, until the garbanzos are slightly chopped.
4Add the onion and the avocado, if desired.
5Process again until the mixture is chunky.
6Place the mixture in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients.
7Mix well.
8Cover and chill before serving.
